Aims and Objectives
To provide nurses with more comprehensive knowledge on basic microbiology, common infectious diseases and basic infection control. Course Contents
- Basic microbiology & Antibiotic usage
- Basic infection control
- Control & Management of Common & Emerging Infections
- Prevention & control of common Nosocomial Infections
- Role and Responsibilities of Link Person / Manager
- Outbreak management
Period of the course
- Dates : 29th September, 2008 – 1st December , 2008 ( Every Monday except 13th Oct 2008 --> 17th Oct 2008) for 10 sessions
- Time : 6:00 pm – 8:00 pm ( total 20 hours )
